Boiler Magnetic Filters
Magnetic Filters are fitted on the return pipe to the boiler. It will stop metal debris from entering and damaging the boiler. If the Magnetic filter is less than 5 years old it will be cleaned out as part of a boiler service. Magnetic filters and Lime-scale reducers are a good idea when connecting a new boiler to an existing system. Adding Inhibitor to your system is also very important and must be renewed every 5 - 10 years. It's unfortunate, due to incorrect installation some filters cannot be cleaned.
